Gulson Road

Planning permission has been granted for Gulson Road, a 462 bed student residence in Coventry.

The building steps up from the scale of the residential terrace opposite towards the taller student blocks to the south-west. A series of open courtyards not only offer students a pleasant view, but also help break down the mass of the building.

Inside, a combination of private studios, affordable and standard cluster flats are offered to attract a broad demographic of student residents.

Various social and study spaces and an on-site gym provide students with a blend of living and learning, while bookable group study and private dining spaces on the top floor offer views of the surrounding countryside.

Curlew Capital have agreed to forward-fund the development which starts on site in Autumn 2018 and will complete for summer 2020.
